Transparency

Kinderhilfswerk Global-Care is part of the Initiative Transparent Civil Society.
As a member we voluntarily commit to making information about ourselves easily accessible to the public. This includes information, the statutes, and names of the principal decision makers, data on the sources of our funds and their use, as well as the personnel structure.

4. Notice from the tax office about the recognition as a tax-privileged non-profit corporation.

Kinderhilfswerk Stiftung Global-Care is exempt from corporate income tax and solidarity surcharge by virtue of the notice of exemption dated April 30th, 2024 from the Kassel Tax Office, tax number: 26 250 67073, as exclusively and directly serving tax-privileged, charitable purposes within the meaning of §§ 51ff. AO (German Law) from corporate income tax and solidarity surcharge. You can download the notice here (in German) and attach it to your tax return if you would like to deduct your donation to Kinderhilfswerk Stiftung Global-Care for tax purposes. Please contact your local tax lawyer for further information as there are different rules for different countries.

4a. Recognition as a tax-privileged non-profit organisation (ANBI) in the Netherlands: 

As of January 11, 2023, Kinderhilfswerk Stiftung Global-Care has the status of a non-profit organisation (ANBI) in the Netherlands. Donations to the foundation are tax deductible. The associated tax number/RSIN for ANBI status is: 827159407

9. Affiliation with third parties

Founder of Kinderhilfswerk Global-Care is “Sozialdienst im Freikirchlichen Bund der Gemeinde Gottes e. V.” (SiFBGG). Subsidiaries of GLOBAL CARE are Kinderhulpwerk Global-Care Nederland in Brunssum, Netherlands, and Kristen Bornefond Global-Care in Aarhus, Denmark. They share our goals and commitments in their work with children in developing countries.

Kinderhilfswerk Stiftung Global-Care is part of the umbrella organisations “Der PARITÄTISCHE Wohlfahrtsverband Landesverband Hessen e. V.” and  “VENRO Verband Entwicklungspolitik und Humanitäre Hilfe deutscher Nichtregierungsorganisationen e. V.”, and a member of the alliances “Gemeinsam für Afrika e. V.” and “Aktion Deutschland Hilft e. V.”

10. Names of legal entities

No legal entity’s donations account for more than ten percent of the total income of the GLOBAL CARE Children’s Foundation.
