2. collection and storage of personal data as well as type and purpose of processing

a) When visiting the website

When you visit our website www.global-care.de, information is automatically sent to the server of our website by the browser used on your end device. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until automated deletion:

  • IP address of the requesting computer,
  • Date and time of access,
  • Name and URL of the file accessed,
  • website from which the access is made (referrer URL),
  • browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer and the name of your access provider.

Due to legal obligation, data processing is carried out e.g. for the purpose of fulfilling tax control and reporting obligations and providing information to authorities.

In order to protect the legitimate interests of us or third parties, data processing is also carried out for specific purposes after prior weighing of interests, e.g. protection of legal claims, clarification of criminal offenses, optimized approach for donation purposes or to ensure data security. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes for data collection listed above. In no case do we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person. d) When registering for our newsletter

If you have explicitly consented in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO, we will use your e-mail address to send you our newsletter on a regular basis. To receive the newsletter, it is sufficient to provide an e-mail address. We use the data exclusively for sending the requested offers and information. Clever Elements is used as the newsletter software. Your data will be transmitted to Clever Elements GmbH. Clever Elements is prohibited from using your data for purposes other than sending newsletters. Clever Elements is a certified provider, which was selected according to the requirements of the DSGVO and the Federal Data Protection Act. e) When using our contact form

For questions of any kind, we offer the opportunity to contact us by using the forms provided on the website. In doing so, it is necessary to provide a valid e-mail address, as well as a first and last name, so we will know who the request is from and are able to reply to you. Further information can be provided voluntarily. Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO on the basis of your voluntarily given consent. The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact forms will be deleted after a period of time.

f) Donation form and fundraising tool

The donation form and the fundraising tool are provided to us by the service provider FundraisingBox. FundraisingBox guarantees complete data protection and legally secure data storage. FundraisingBox ¸ takes over the payment processing for us through a secure and certified environment. In doing so, donation transaction data is SSL encrypted at all times and stored in European certified data centers. Personal data is processed in compliance with the BDSG (German Federal Data Protection Act). The employees of FundraisingBox are bound to data secrecy within the framework of § 5 BDSG and your data will not be disclosed to third parties. g) Use of script libraries (Google Web Fonts)

In order to display our content correctly and graphically appealing across browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/) on this website. Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser’s cache to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Web Fonts or prevents access, content is displayed in a standard font. Script libraries are called locally and do not trigger a connection to the library operator.

3. Transfer of data

We do not transfer your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those listed below. We only pass on your personal data to third parties if:

  • in the event that there is a legal obligation for the disclosure pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. c DSGVO,
  • as well as this is legally permissible and necessary according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b DSGVO for the processing of contractual relationships with you.

4. Cookies

We use cookies on our site. These are small files that are automatically created by your browser and stored on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone or similar) when you visit our site. Cookies do not cause any damage to your end device, do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malware. Our social media presences are intended to ensure the broadest possible presence on the Internet. We therefore link these social media presences on our website. The site enables connections to be made to social networks operated by third parties. However, such connections are only established after you have clicked the button for the respective network on the website. If the contact is established by a click, these services collect data about you or your usage.

YouTube videos are integrated or linked via the extended data protection mode (YouTube no-cookies) and refer directly to the YouTube channel. Cookies are not set in this case.

You have the right:

  • to request information about your personal data processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 DSGVO. In particular, you can request information about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of complaint, the origin of your data, if it has not been collected by us, as well as the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information about its details;
  • in accordance with Art. 16 DSGVO, to immediately request the correction of incorrect or completion of your personal data stored by us;
  • pursuant to Art. 17 DSGVO, to request the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless
  • processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims;
  • pursuant to Art. 18 DSGVO, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data, insofar as the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful, but you object to its erasure and we no longer need the data, but you need it for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims or you have objected to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 DSGVO;
  • pursuant to Art. 20 DSGVO, to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request that it be transferred to another controller;

  • to complain to a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 DSGVO. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or workplace or the headquarters of our children’s charity for this purpose.

If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f DSGVO, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 21 DSGVO, provided that there are grounds for doing so that arise from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct advertising. In the latter case, you have a general right of objection, which is implemented by us without specifying a particular situation. We use the widespread SSL procedure (Secure Socket Layer) in connection with the highest encryption level supported by your browser. You can see whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the upper or lower status bar of your browser. We also use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or against unauthorized access by third parties.
